I’ve always considered myself a healthy guy in the sense of being active and eating healthy. Little did I know that I could go above and beyond and get to feeling even better. My first health concerns that I worked with Mike were around increasing energy levels to be able to perform at a peak level in my day job on a consistent level over time.

Mike was able to get me to understand the basics of the impact of
nutrition on my body and how to change it fast on a daily basis, increase the quality of my sleep, get into an exercise routine and finally drop 20 pounds. But most of all, all those around me noticed increased and consistent insane energy day after day.

The fact that Mike has a business background from IBM and not only from the health world gave him lots of credibility to mentor me over now over 8 years. 1) What were your initial health concerns and goals when you first started working with Mike?

First off I found him through Dr. Sarah Gottfried where, upon reading her book, I came across a list of practitioners certified by her. Mike Daciuk and another practitioner were the closest to my area. I reached out to both and Mike, promptly responded to my cry for help. I had a Very High TSH…thyroid issues after quitting the pill cold turkey trying to heal naturally. I was scared and desperate for help.

2) How did Mike help you in improving your health?

He called me, we made a Zoom apt I believe and after assessing the situation he suggested some tests, later again by zoom we went through results. He the Suggested some natural meds….when we tested later, also on my end I was getting better. Life made it so that I needed to return on a lower dosage of synthroid for a while. I then met a healing yoga coach through a retreat and have been to this day, still working on a self-healing journey.

Only for health but Gotta say that his approach includes some mentoring. He gave me hope when I was at my lowest and was always only an email away responding to any future concerns or questions. Even though we do not work together anymore I appreciate the fact that Mike still checks on me once in a while!

1) What were your initial health concerns and goals when you first started working with Mike?

I had a lot of bloating and challenges with digestion. I was lacking energy, had weight gain, and my hair was dried out.

2) How did Mike help you in improving your health?

Mike whole-heartedly listened to my story of what I had been through with medical issues and unsuccessful treatments I had been through. He had me take tests that found multiple issues that no other doctor had found. He set up a step-by-step plan to treat the root cause of my issues in the order of importance. He put me on a specific diet to support the healing of my specific issues. His caring nature made me feel safe, supported, and heard.

Finding Mike was a turning point in my health. I had been through two back surgeries in less than two years, which caused some significant changes to the functioning of my body. After the surgeries, I developed gut issues and food allergies. I had been to see many different doctors and even went to a clinic for in-patient treatment for three weeks in
another state which only made me worse. My stomach was so bloated that I looked pregnant at times. I was afraid to eat because everything seemed to irritate me or create pain in my stomach. I was tired all the time and would take naps to get through the day. When I had my first phone call with Mike, he whole-heartedly listened to everything I had been through and genuinely showed compassion for my situation.

He had me start with some testing, and it uncovered multiple issues that other practitioners had not discovered. The tests showed I had systemic candida, h-pylori, SIBO, and two types of parasites. With the proper diagnostics, Mike then set me up with a step-by-step plan to treat the root causes of my problems. He also put me on a specific diet to support my healing. Two autoimmune diseases; Colitis (12 years) Enteropathic Arthritis (2 years). High levels of inflammation and achy joints in addition to the EA. My goal was to rid my body of AI/EA, stave off any additional AI diseases and lose weight.

  1. My goals were to lose weight and get stronger. Being a volleyball player and loving physical activity, I knew that with time I needed to be more stronger and in better physical shape to maintain a high level of physical activity and competitiveness.

– Mike was very thorough in explaining human physiology. He did an outstanding job at simplifying a complex subject.

3) How has your health improved and how has that made you feel ?

– After 3 months of going on Mike’s recommended regiment my energy level has gone through the roof, I’ve lost over 25 lbs of fat and brought my body fat percentage down from 28% to 19%. I am now more focused and feel better at 47 than I did at 37.
